Yay! Summer is here!

School is out! But that doesn't mean we stop learning. Click here for our summer reading program. Can't make it to the library? Check out the Tumble Book Library on our school web site. Don't forget that our school web site has many links to free educational games.

The PTO wishes to thank all the teachers, staff and families who made this school year a memorable and happy experience.

Summer Reading Program

Just in time for the start of summer, the Summer Reading Program is up and ready to go.

Please be aware that the recommended reading list is just that, recommended. The books on the list are NOT REQUIRED. After this list was assembled, we learned that quite a few of the titles are not available through the Winthrop Library or through inter-library loan. This is meant to be a fun and enriching program, not a required work assignment. We hope you view this as an opportunity to explore our local library with your child. Ms. Nickerson and Ms. Connolly of the Children's Room are quite happy to recommend other books appropriate to your child's age and reading level.

Thanks to Ms. Nickerson, she will also be setting aside a special math section of books that you can borrow.

We'll post more helpful reading links as the summer goes on.
