If you haven't already done so, it's time to turn in your summer reading logs from our summer reading program. Please be sure your child's name, current teacher and grade are clearly printed at the top. Lost your log? Click here for a blank form.

The PTO is grateful to Twist & Shake for sponsoring our summer reading program.

Summer Reading Program

Just in time for the start of summer, the Summer Reading Program is up and ready to go.

Please be aware that the recommended reading list is just that, recommended. The books on the list are NOT REQUIRED. After this list was assembled, we learned that quite a few of the titles are not available through the Winthrop Library or through inter-library loan. This is meant to be a fun and enriching program, not a required work assignment. We hope you view this as an opportunity to explore our local library with your child. Ms. Nickerson and Ms. Connolly of the Children's Room are quite happy to recommend other books appropriate to your child's age and reading level.

Thanks to Ms. Nickerson, she will also be setting aside a special math section of books that you can borrow.

We'll post more helpful reading links as the summer goes on.
